Members of Missouri Women On Wheels® participate in an Annual Touring/Photo Contest to discover new roads and destinations. The theme of the 2022 Contest is “water towers” and includes any water tower, water tank, or standpipe found in Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, and Oklahoma with the city’s name on it.

The theme of the 2021 Contest was “places in Missouri with the same name as other places”. Manchester can be found in Alabama, California, Connecticut, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin, Bolivia, Suriname, and the United Kingdom.

Our International Female Ride Day photo for 2019 was taken at the world’s largest bird cage in Casey, Illinois. We joined the Metro East Spyder Ryders Club for a great day of food, fun, and friendship.
Our International Female Ride Day photo for 2018 was taken at Malcolm W. Martin Memorial Park. The park is home to the Gateway Geyser (the tallest water fountain in the United States). The Mississippi River Overlook offers wonderful views of the Gateway Arch and downtown St. Louis.
Our International Female Ride Day photo for 2017 was taken at The Mural Mile (Mississippi River Floodwall). More than 250 graffiti artists from around the country have added to the mural.

The Heartland Chapter won the 2016 photo contest sponsored by Women On Wheels® in commemoration of International Female Ride Day.
